Comstock Review : Rejection
Dear Poet
We appreciate your sending us your work to read. We regret that we are unable to use it at this time. All poems are read by at least three editors, often more. As you may know, we strive for varied styles and content and we like to include some traditional verse. In order to do this we send back many poems which will be published elsewhere.

Hand-written marginalia:
Some nice work overall - "Cow" and "How he loved me" the editors favorites. That first line in "Loved me" is a grabber! (JB)

An encouraging rejection, I guess.
The opening line is indeed a grabber. Personally, I loved the whole poem.
