Hi Jude,

My chapbook "Slow To Burn" is available via PayPal from the fab indie press, MetroMania (www.metromaniapress.com). How cool that you are actively looking for chapbooks!

My chapbook is available through PayPal at HappenStance Press along with other very fine publications. You can read a sample poem from each chapbook at the site, which should give you an idea if they’re what you’re looking for or not.

Good idea to have chapbook prizes!

Lulu books can be purchased with PayPal, and my book is available here: pseudophakia.

Very neat idea.

Like Julie's book, mine's available via Lulu.com - here. No reviews yet, but you can get a feel for whether it would make a good prize by checking out the pdf version - here.

ps: for my sins, I edited Magma 6 (a loong time ago), even then - before it had a website presence - the magazine was receiving hundreds of submissions, mainly from the UK but also from N America and Europe. The magazine still has a rotating editorship, so don't be put off by a rejection this time around.

Hello Jude-

Sandi Blakemore-Baig sent me an email about your blog on 10/27/2006 just after we'd had a long phone conversation. We had known each other for several years as poets and as people with bipolar disorder. If you weren't aware, Sandi, committed suicide on Sunday, 10/29/2006. There is a memorial thread at The Critical Poet that you may add your thoughts to.

Sandi had a copy of my book and felt that the poetry was spot on in describing the swinging cycles of emotion a bipolar must endure throughout their lifetime.

Please visit www.dscpublishingllc.com to see samples and reviews of my book, Voices in My Head.
